Exploring the secluded areas of Stardew Valley often leads players to mysterious encounters and unique rewards. Among these hidden interactions is the stone statue of Old Master Cannoli located deep within the Secret Woods. By fulfilling the statue's specific desire, farmers can unlock a permanent enhancement that significantly aids their daily routine.

Locating Old Master Cannoli in the Secret Woods

To reach Old Master Cannoli, players must first gain access to the Secret Woods located in the northwest corner of Cindersap Forest. Upgrading the axe to Steel quality or better is required to chop down the large log blocking the entryway. Once inside, navigating toward the left side reveals a stone statue tucked among the trees.

Obtaining the Sweet Gem Berry

Interacting with the statue reveals a hint about searching for the sweetest taste in the world. This requirement refers to the Sweet Gem Berry, which is grown from a Rare Seed. Rare Seeds can be purchased from the Traveling Cart in Cindersap Forest during Spring and Summer for a variable gold amount.

Growing and Harvesting the Required Crop

Once acquired, the Rare Seed must be planted during the Fall season, as it takes 24 full days to mature into a Sweet Gem Berry. Farmers should ensure the crop is properly watered and protected from crows throughout its growth cycle. Using Speed-Gro fertilizer can help shorten the required days if planted later in the season.

Claiming the Ultimate Reward

After harvesting the Sweet Gem Berry, return to the Secret Woods and offer the item to Old Master Cannoli's statue. The statue's eyes will glow red, granting the player a Stardrop as a reward for completing the secret task. Consuming this Stardrop permanently increases the farmer's maximum energy capacity, making daily chores and mining much easier to manage.
